Holme Valley Parish Council has an exciting and fulfilling part-time role for someone who wants to contribute to a sustainable environmental future for the Holme Valley. This role will be central to delivering actions which will move Holme Valley to becoming carbon neutral by 2030 by coordinating the HVPC Climate Emergency Action Plan. We need someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and who can deliver initiatives on time and to budget. You must be able to both engage constructively and create networks with residents, councillors, external community partners, local and national government bodies. Most importantly, you will have an inner drive to make things happen through a positive, resilient and inclusive approach. The Climate Emergency Action Plan can be downloaded from the Holme Valley Parish Council website. You will report progress to the Parish Council’s Climate Emergency Committee with formal line management by the Parish Council Clerk. The post will be paid £12,000 p.a. for 18 hours per week to be worked flexibly. The post is for 12 months, fixed term, initially. The post-holder will be employed by Holme Valley Parish Council
