Holme Valley Parish Council to hold Virtual Council Meetings

Published: 27 May 2020

Due to current social distancing measures put in place following the COVID-19 pandemic, Holme Valley Parish Council has decided to conduct virtual council meetings via Zoom.

We will hold our first virtual full council meeting on Monday June 1st at 7pm. All Councillors are able to video conference using this system. Members of the public can also join the meeting, and future meetings, by emailing the Clerk for details.

A spokesman for the Parish Council said: “It is vitally important for the Council to continue to meet, to debate issues and to conduct the ongoing day-to-day running of the Council in the interests of the people of the Holme Valley meeting. Therefore we felt virtual meetings were the best option." The council has made the decision to conduct virtual council meetings for the foreseeable future, so long as social distancing measures are in place.
