Partnerships
Kirklees Council
In Autumn 2005, Holme Valley Parish Council Chairman, Cllr John Chilton, together with his colleagues from the other four Parish and Town Councils in the Kirklees Council area, signed a new Parish and Town Councils Charter with Kirklees Metropolitan Council.
This Charter marks a commitment to work together and is a statement of the principles by which all partners will approach their work together.

Holme Valley Minibuses
For 30 years, Holme Valley Parish Council, initially on its own, and now in partnership with West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, has provided local minibus services serving the Valley. It was the first Council in West Yorkshire to provide such a service.
The Holme Valley Minibus services, operated by Carl Stott and Sons, operate 6 routes with hourly services. Two buses operate six days a week – Mondays to Saturdays, on six routes.
Holme Valley Minibus services, H1-H7, are subsidised by the Holme Valley Parish Council
