Your Valley, Your Vote!
We are delighted to confirm that the Holme Valley Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) has reached its final stage: a public referendum on 4th November!
This is the opportunity for local people to decide whether the policies within the NDP should be adopted so that they are used by Kirklees Council and the Peak District National Park Authority in future planning decisions.
Every household in the valley will be receiving a leaflet with further details about the NDP and printed copies can be viewed in Holmfirth and Honley libraries.
Our website (www.holmevalleyparishcouncil.gov.uk) has all the background to the plan as well as supporting documentation, consultation materials, feedback and the report from the Independent Planning Examiner. Please take the time to vote and have your say at the referendum on 4th November, which is a process managed by Kirklees Council and run like local government elections.
