The Death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Statement from Cllr Jason Brook, Chairman of Holme Valley Parish Council:
“I am so sad to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her life was one of absolute service and unswerving loyalty to her subjects. On behalf of all members of Holme Valley Parish Council and all Holme Valley citizens, I am sending deepest condolences to the Royal Family, in particular to His Majesty King Charles III.”
The Holme Valley Parish Council Book of Condolence will be available to sign in the entrance hall at The Civic, Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth HD9 3AS every day 10am-2pm throughout the period of mourning.
The Service Provision Committee meeting scheduled for Monday 12 September and the Finance and Management Committee meeting scheduled for Monday 19 September are postponed and will be rearranged. Details to follow.
