Honley Library has reopened its doors following the completion of its new extension and improvement works.
The newly improved library now includes baby-changing facilities, a public toilet, additional storage and a new quiet area, alongside new carpet, doors and entrance improvements and new roof lights.
The project has been led by the Friends of Honley Library, who manage the library alongside Kirklees Library Services. Holme Valley Parish Council, which owns the building, was pleased to support the extension project.
The improvements will help make the library an even more welcoming and flexible community space, supporting its growing range of activities and services for people in Honley.
