Kirklees Council is currently running a Community Governance Review across the district, and they are inviting views from residents, local organisations and businesses. The review looks at whether current parish and town council boundaries still reflect how communities identify today.
The first consultation stage, which runs from 1 October to 12 December 2025. This is your opportunity to share thoughts on whether areas should be merged, split, renamed or reorganised, or whether new parish or town councils should be created.
Everyone in Kirklees is encouraged to participate. This is a chance to help shape local representation and influence how communities are governed in future.
To submit your feedback, visit the Community Governance Review page on the Kirklees Council website.
