Our contractors will be carrying out repair and improvement works at Holmfirth public toilets in the coming weeks.
When?
• Scaffolding will be in place from Friday 26 September to Friday 24 October 2025
• Works will take up to four weeks, starting Monday 29 September 2025
What’s happening?
• Reroofing of the building
• Stonework repairs to the upper walls
• Cleaning of the external stonework
• Installation of solar PV panels to improve sustainability
What does this mean for the public?
• The toilets will remain open throughout the works, although there may be short closures at times (for example, when rooflights are replaced).
• Up to 8 parking spaces in the adjacent car park will be out of use during this period.
• Scaffolding and fencing will be in place, so please take extra care around the site.
We appreciate your patience while we carry out these essential improvements. The works will help protect and improve the building for years to come, while also adding renewable energy capacity.
