- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Nomination Room A, 3-5 Albion Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 2NG, between Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm only (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4:00pm on Friday 9th January 2026.
- Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, 3-5 Albion Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 2NG, during the times stated above.
- If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 5th February 2026.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 20th January 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at 3-5 Albion Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 2NG by 5:00pm on Wednesday 21st January 2026.
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5:00pm on Wednesday 28th of January 2026. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/votingphotoid.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at 3-5 Albion Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 2NG by 5:00pm on Wednesday 28th January 2026.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at 3-5 Albion Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 2NG by 5:00pm on Thursday 5th February 2026.
