Did you know there are regular youth clubs and projects running four nights a week across the Holme Valley, supported by Holme Valley Parish Council?
The Parish Council funds local youth provision in partnership with Kirklees Youth Alliance (KYA), helping to ensure young people have access to safe, welcoming spaces to meet friends, try new activities and get support close to home.
What’s on each week?
Mondays
Honley Youth Drop-In (Honley Village Hall)
Weekly youth club sessions alongside local outreach work.
Tuesdays
The Phoenix Centre
Junior and Senior Youth Clubs, offering sports, games and social activities in a supported environment.
Wednesdays & Thursdays
Café 100 Youth Project (based at Holmfirth Tech)
Twice-weekly sessions including creative activities, cooking on a budget, trips and skills workshops.
In addition, in-school youth work sessions take place at Honley High School during the school week, helping young people connect with the wider youth offer across the valley.
Sessions are free or low-cost and run by qualified youth workers.
How to get involved
Parents, carers and young people can find out more about session times, age ranges and locations by contacting Kirklees Youth Alliance or speaking directly to the venues hosting sessions.
