The Holme Valley Seeks New Councillors

Holme Valley Parish Council seeks to improve the quality of life of our residents through supporting our local community, economy and environment through funding a range of services, facilities and projects.
Following the resignation of two councillors, we currently have two vacancies (Upperthong & Holmfirth Central wards) with candidates being elected on 6th May 2021.
If you’d like to stand either as an independent or for a political party, nomination papers can be requested by contacting the Parish Clerk directly at clerk@holmevalleyparishcouncil.gov.uk or you can contact the elections team at Kirklees Council on 01484 221650 or by email at electoral.registration@kirklees.gov.uk. Nomination papers have to be delivered by hand to the Electoral Services between 26th March and 8th April 2021.
