Holme Valley Parish Council is the first tier of local government covering the administrative area of the Holme Valley.


Latest Grants Awarded  

The Parish  Council conferred grants on the following vital community groups: 

      • Holmfirth and District Bowling Club - grant towards building a disabled toilet
      • Upperthong Village Hall - grant for renovation work on the Village Hall  (July 2020)
      • Holmbridge Cricket Club - grant towards a new pathway to the pavilion (July 2020)
      • River Holme Connections - grant for their Thongsbridge Riverside Project (July 2020)
      • Wooldale Community Association - grant towards resurfacing of the children's play area (July 2020)        
      • Brockholes Village Trust - grant for safety fencing  to the boules pitch (July 2020) 
      • Holmfirth Civic Hall Community Trust - grant for a deep-clean of the Civic Hall (July 2020)

Holme Valley Land Charity

Holme Valley Parish Council is the sole corporate Trustee of the Holme Valley Land Charity, so the councillors are all part of the Land Charity, as Members of the Trustee.
